“The life of the dead is placed in the memory of the living.” /Cicero/
Imagine that you can watch your own funeral as a movie! I know it sounds morbid, but let me explain it! Just imagine that your coffin is surrounded by people who decided to come to say goodbye to you. You see them and hear them. And as you are peacefully lying waiting for the ceremony to come to an end, they start to talk honestly about you…
What would you like to hear?
What would you like to be remembered for?
What kind of thoughts would you want them to keep in their mind about you?
The press is full of articles about how 2016 ran away with many many fantastic, talented artists, cultural icons, legends and famous people. George Michael, David Bowie, Alan Rickman, Umberto Eco, Gene Wilder, Zaha Hadid and from the Hungarians Péter Eszterházy, Irén Psota, Vilmos Zsigmond, Sándor Csoóri, Imre Józsa just to mention couple names from the long list. (For a more detailed list check Wikipedia!) Reading these articles makes us pause for a moment in the rushing world to remember those famous personalities and reflect on their contributions to this world.
They passed away, but YOU ARE ALIVE! 2016 is coming to an end and 2017 is impatiently waiting for a warm welcome on the porch. Think about it! What would you like to be remembered for? And go for it in 2017!! Open a blank new page in the book of your life and write/draw/ imagine your own story! Move closer to the person who you really want to be!
I wish you a Happy New Year full of Love, Joy, Goals, Abundance, Growth and Mistakes!
